The God is said to smile kindly when having created the Crimean soil bounding the
endless steppes with the proud top of the Crimean mountains, golden sandy beaches
of the East - West coast with the rocky cliffs of the Southern coastline, tender
feather grass with the splendour of the subtropical greenery.

Mapped out halfway the Equator and the North Pole, washed by the waters of the Black and
Azov Seas, the Crimean Peninsula reminds of a green grape - shaped leaf plying
on the seablue. Steppe and plain cover, almost two - thirds of the peninsula are
descending to the sea by three mountain ridges.
